Farchynys Farm is situated in the magnificent Mawddach Estuary in the South of Snowdonia National Park, four miles from the popular beaches of Barmouth and six miles from the historic town of Dolgellau. The house dates from about 1870 when it was built as part of the Farchynys estate for a businessman from Cheshire. It is on the Western edge of Farchynys Woods with its several paths and tracks leading to the estuary. There are wonderful views of the estuary and the hills to the South of the river.
